1. Where should you pick up my clothes for laundry?
You select the time that you want your laundry service done. We come to you, in your home, or workplace, basically, we can pick them up anywhere you want. PLD Experts will bring a bag to place your loose clothes in, keeping them all together.
2. What regions do you cover?
We operate online, with our headquarters in Juba, South Sudan, we cover the whole of Juba and its surroundings. We will be expanding rapidly to other destinations throughout East Africa such as Nairobi and Kampala.
3. How long does the cleaning take and what if it need it in the next 3 hours for a special event?
We have our PLD experts and professionals ready to deliver the best for you. You can request for express services such as, within 4 hours, 8 hours, 24 hours. Normal laundry service, we aim to collect, clean and deliver your laundry all within 48 hours.
4. What items should be laundered and which should be dry cleaned?
You can tell us which ones you want laundered and which ones dry cleaned. With your dry cleaning, we’ll check the label and see how to best treat it – we may even call you if we aren’t sure how to proceed with washing an item that looks delicate.
5. Can I order by email or phone or bring the clothes into ones of your site?
It’s much easier to do your laundry and Dry cleaning with PLD, you can order online, via phone, email, or you can even walk in in person to one of our locations and get your order taken by one of our friendly staff.
6. What specific type of clothing do you clean?

7. I live outside South Sudan, can I Order Laundry service for someone else?
Yes, you can pay for someone else as their birthday present or gift to watch their clothes with us, we will contact them to pick up their clothes and drop back to them, we will not reveal it was you doing this. This is one of the best ways to surprise your workmate/girlfriend/boyfriend/friend bride/groom.
8. Where are my clothes cleaned?
Your clothes will be cleaned at one of our professional A grade cleaning facilities. Our experts at PLD and experienced dry cleaners will always handle your clothes with the utmost care.
9. What fabrics don't you clean?
Leather, suede, velvet or fur items. This is because of the cost to clean these items usually outweighs the benefit to you. In the rare event that we receive your clothes and cannot clean them, we will notify you as soon as possible.
10. What if my clothes are lost during pick up or damaged during washing/iron?
Incidents of lost items, damage to date are uncommon – but we understand it’s common customer concern. Our team take a great care in handling your clothes. Refer to terms and Conditions.
In the extremely rare event your item is damaged, we’ll reimburse you some part of the original cost provided that you have a copy of the receipt of how much you have paid for it.
11. Can all stains be removed?
We use the very highest quality equipment and industry-leading stain removal products. But unfortunately, we cannot guarantee to remove all stains. If you are dissatisfied with the quality, we provide we offer a free re-clean.
12. Do I need to weigh my Wash?
Not at all. All Wash orders are weighed when they reach the facility. You will receive a confirmation email of the final weight from our team.
13. Colours and whites - do I need to sort these?
We’ll do that for you. All you need to do is make sure you don’t include dry clean items with a Wash.
14. What temperature do you wash the clothes?
A temperature around a 30 degrees is used for all Wash.
15. Do you dry my clothes?
Absolutely! All your clothes in a Wash, Tumble Dry & Fold order are tumble dried at a medium heat until dry.
16. We are a sport team; can we wash our sporting uniforms with you?
Absolutely, you will get discounted prices based on how often you will be washing your uniforms with us.
17. We are an organisation; can we wash our work uniforms with you?
Absolutely, you will get discounted prices based on how often you will be washing your uniforms with us.
Collection & Delivery
How your orders and deliveries are processed
1. When can you collect my order?
We are available all week from 6am to 10pm although collection and delivery times can vary subject to availability.
2. Can I schedule pickup and delivery at different locations?
Absolutely, we do multi-location pick up and drop off.
3. Do you provide suit covers after they have been dry cleaned?
Absolutely, Each suit comes with PLD designed suit cover.
4. Can I reschedule a collection or delivery?
Yes, you can amend your order anytime as long it is less than 1 hour of expected delivery or pick up time.
5. Can I cancel my order?
Yes, unless your order is within 3 hours before the scheduled pickup slot. Please contact Customer Care if this is the case.
A $15 cancellation charge for failing to be present or cancelling less than 3 hours before a scheduled collection will apply.

In cash, Bank Transfer, mobile money, currency in South Sudanese Pound, Kenya shillings, Uganda shillings and USD
2. Can I pay for someone else?
Yes, you can pay for someone else as their birthday present or gift to watch their clothes with us, we will contact them to pick up their clothes and drop back to them, we will not reveal it was you doing this. This is one of the best ways to surprise your workmate/girlfriend/boyfriend/friend bride/groom.
